Branding...You often hear this word but what does it mean? Wikipedia defines it as the identity of a specific product, service, or business. Business branding can take on many forms, including your name, signage, symbols, color combination(s), or a slogan.

The word branding has continued to evolve to encompass identity and it affects the personality of products, companies, or services. If you must change your company name, logo, etc... make a big deal out of it so that everyone you do business with is aware of the upcoming change. Have a "Grand Re-Opening", Send Out Flyers or Postcards to all your contacts, make it your HOT Topic in your e-newsletter but whatever you do make it known and the timeline that this is going to happen.
